Mt. Uncle Distillery began its life in 2001 and is the creation of Head Distiller and Director Mark Watkins.
The distillery began with a multitude of liqueurs sourcing ingredients and fruits from Mt Uncle farm itself and other local farm lands. Progressing on through the years Mt Uncle has built an impeccable and unrivaled reputation in producing award winning premium spirits and liqueurs still with ah uge emphasis on using as many local and national Australian ingredients as possible.
We are North Queensland’s first and only distillery and is the premier attraction on the Atherton Tablelands.
Nestled at the foothill of Mount Uncle itself and set in beautiful landscaped gardens within a Banana plantation,
Mt. Uncle Distillery is a stunning place to visit.
Also on the grounds is our fantastic Bridges Bar & Restaurant serving a selection of delicious wood fired pizzas, slow cooked meats, salads, and desserts.
Take a stroll around our grounds to meet our very friendly alpacas, donkeys and goats, and marvel at the beautiful peacocks roaming freely.
