This year's small batch of Damson gin is even better! We've upped the booze and lowered the sugar - check out that gorgeous colour! Locally grown Damson plums have been hand-picked + steeped in dry gin for 6 months. The ginny plums are then cooked into a preserve that is fabulous along-side pates, terrines, a cheese platter or even thickly spread on hot buttered toast!
TASTING NOTES & COCKTAIL IDEAS We've added only a tiny amount of sugar to balance the astringency of the fruit but keep their characteristic tart flavour. Enjoy neat (or over ice), preferably whist snuggled up in front of an open fire...also good with bitter lemon tonic or in a classic Charlie Chaplin cocktail (substitute for the traditional sloe gin!)
