Australian distilled Apple Cider, barrel aged.
C: golden, slightly green, sunlight
N: ripe as well as baked apples, intense vanilla, creamy like a hand balm, slightly herbal, some say, very soft (anything but a hatchet)
P: some over-ripe cider apples, slightly acidic and spicy, quite muscular (there is at least a small hatchet…), herbal, peppery
F: roasted aromas for a few moments then overripe-fruits, some dried banana crisps
C: On one hand it is close to Calvados (more on the nose than on the palate), on the other hand it is much creamier and softer, has far more apple and less wood aromas than most of the aged Calvados in France!
