Belgrove sheep eat the spent grains from the distillery, their dung fertilizes the farm and some of their dung is burnt. Ultimate recycling.

This natural cask strength beauty spent its life in a 50L ex Oat Whisky Cask. Expect heaps of creamy oat notes.

Color: Yellow Gold

Nose: Immediate notes of hazelnuts, gentle smoke, creamy porridge, and finishes with the Belgrove distinctive unmalted Rye notes Black Pepper & Spearmint.

Palate: The first sip would fill your palate with creamy sweet smoke, and gradually the smoke starts building up to a beautiful crescendo of Smoke, Nutty, Earthy, & Sheep! Mid palate dances with notes of green tea, spearmint, and herbaceous spices. The earthy smoke notes linger on and on; just delightful.
