An Australian take on the classic orange liqueur. Made with our finest brandy, distilled orange zest, a selection of botanicals and cane sugar this racy number is exceptionally tasty and infinitely versatile.

Tasting notes
Colour: Bright Medium Amber
Aroma: Aromas of freshly squeezed oranges lifted by the sweet floral heady notes of brandy with hints of dried fruits and vanilla.
Palate: Decadent luscious and silky texture carrying sweet Brandy spices of cinnamon with hints of clove and nutmeg overlaid with candied orange rind. The palate is prolonged balancing the toasty, vanilla and nutty influences of the French oak used to age our brandy finishing dry and chest warming with marmalade nuances.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Sip neat or over ice for a refreshing drink. Also use as a hero ingredient in many classic cocktails such as the Margarita, Sidecar, Cosmopolitan and White Lady.

White Lady
40ml Bass & Flinders Soft & Smooth gin
20ml Bass & Flinders Madame Marmalade Orange Liqueur
30ml fresh lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
15ml egg white
Chill down a coupe or Martini glass. Add all ingredients in a Boston shaker. Fill with ice and shake well. Double strain through a tea strainer and garnish with a twist of lemon or dehydrated lemon wheel.

Madame Sidecar
60ml Madame Marmalade
30ml fresh lemon juice
Chill down a Martini glass or Old Fashioned Rocks glass. Rub a wedge of orange around 1/2 the rim and dip in white sugar. Re-chill.

Add all ingredients in a Boston shaker. Fill with ice and shake well. Double strain through a tea strainer. If using an Old Fashioned Rocks glass, strain over a large ice cube in the glass. Garnish with an orange twist or dehydrated orange wheel.
