Our BPD ‘Port Cask Matured’ Single Malt Whisky, is beautifully crafted and consists of multiple Ruby Port Casks, blended with a touch of heavily fortified Tawny Port Cask to make a rich and fruity, classic Port Cask release which brings together berry fruitiness and nutty caramel complexity. Initially the nose is filled with fortified aromatics of blackcurrant, candied raspberries, cinnamon, salted caramel and brandy soaked sultanas. The palate brings black forest cake, trifle, caramel fudge and spicy honey with subtle oak undertones. It finishes long with a touch of pepper, pine bark, orange bitters and tobacco.
