This Christmas, we are excited to present a whisky that has undergone a unique and extraordinary journey of maturation. Aged first in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, the whisky absorbed the rich, layered characteristics of these renowned Spanish sherries. "Oloroso" translates to "fragrant" or "floral" in Spanish, bringing a beautiful aromatic complexity, while Pedro Ximénez, known as the sweetest sherry on earth, imparts deep, luscious sweetness.

But the journey didn’t end there. After two long years evolving in Moscatel casks, the whisky has reached its perfect expression. Moscatel, a fortified wine often associated with vibrant, festive notes, adds a final flourish of fruitiness and warmth, harmonizing beautifully with the flavours imparted by the Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks.

The result is a whisky that truly captures the spirit of Christmas—a symphony of rich, sweet, and aromatic flavours that will evoke the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

TASTING NOTES
Colour:
Deep amber with golden highlights, reflecting the richness of the Moscatel influence.

Nose:
A vibrant aroma of dried fruits—sultanas, figs, and apricots—complemented by warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Hints of caramelised orange peel and vanilla intertwine with subtle honeyed sweetness.

Palate:
Rich and indulgent, offering the spiced sweetness of Christmas cake. Layers of dried fruits mingle with comforting notes of clove, allspice, and toasted nuts. The Moscatel cask imparts a luscious syrupy texture, balanced by a teasing touch of citrus zest, adding freshness and complexity.

Finish:
Long, warm, and lingering, with a delicate fade of sweet oak, dark chocolate, and a gentle wave of festive spices. A refreshing citrusy lift ensures a satisfying conclusion.
