House of Lenna ‘Barrel Aged’ Sloe Gin is distilled out of the House of Lenna Tasmanian copper pot still. Our blend no. 3 uses local Tasmanian Sloe berries from the Northern Midlands. The berries have been macerated for 4-6 months using 5 individually distilled botanicals to create a vibrant smooth Sloe Gin. Our Limited Release ‘Barrel Aged’ Sloe Gin has been macerated in a 225 Litre premium Tasmanian Chardonnay cask, heavily toasted and charred to bring acidity and the perfect amount of oak influence. It is then finished in a wet filled 200Litre ex – Bourbon Cask, which brings body and texture. Bottled at 29.37% ABV. 202 bottles in this release.

Tasting Notes:
The end result is a welcoming and easy drinking Sloe Gin. Smashed red table grapes, muscatel & Christmas pudding on the nose. Candied cherry, apricots and a hint of Belgian chocolate on the palate. Perfect for sipping straight up, or poured on the rocks. For lovers of complex, refined digestives, the long finish will leave you wanting more!
