This gin is a rare expression of the Margaret River region’s hallmark Cabernet Sauvignon wine grape. Whole bunches of freshly picked Cabernet grapes have been macerated in a Juniper spirit, before being blended with individual distillations of Marri Blossom, Wattleseed and Coriander. 

The gin was then rested and refined for four months in French oak barrels that previously housed a Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon.

The result is a complex and fresh forest bouquet, with hints of coffee, chocolate and vanilla bean. The palate is fresh and lingering, with notes of delicate tropical guava and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and a deliciously velvety mouthfeel. Toasty oak enriches the botanicals to create an exceptionally smooth finish with excellent persistence.

 Marri Blossom is prolific in the South West region and flowers during the summer and autumn months. This blossom has an enticing tropical guava undertone, while the Wattleseed imparts delightfully toasty coffee, caramel and hazelnut characters. The taste is rich and uplifting, with a luxurious warmth on the back palate. 

Hand bottled and individually numbered, this gin can be enjoyed over ice, with a splash of soda water, or a clean tonic mixer. Garnish with dehydrated citrus.
